The dinghy is almost always our method of getting from boat to shore and then back home again. Sometimes we are going to a deserted island with a beach, as in this photo from Thailand. This same little boat takes us to towns, carries our groceries, lets us visit other cruisers, and does many other things too. It is invaluable.
