Up an Estuary of the Delaware River

Our first season with "Ladyslipper" we sailed from Ossining, New York, down the coast to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, up through the bay and the Chesapeake-Delaware Canal, down the Delaware River and back home. This photo helps us remember a night tied to a dock up an estuary on the north side of the Delaware River. The boat shown leaning in this photo filled with water in the night and fell over with a crash. If we had been tied up beside that boat we might have lost our mast.
