Hilary's Visit to Australia 2004

We visited the Outback after the tourist season. It was so hot we rented a car quickly rather than walk around town. It was the dry season in "Channel Country" so it was very dry. During the wet season the roads often get flooded. This is a riverbed near Quilpie.
