| We happened to visit Canberra on a day when we could see "Monet and Japan" at the National Gallery, plus Jackson Pollack's "Blue Poles," their most famous painting. It was Canberra Federation Day, so we watched the festivities beside Lake Burley Griffin. We saw many singers and other famous Australian performers such as "Bananas in Pajamas." |
