Peeling Yams

Six Primary Schools were holding their annual three-day athletic competition at Nambuna Village where we were visiting. To feed all the participants plus their families (from half of Koro Island), Nambuna provided all the food, including the huge pile of yams being peeled here. They also bought three cows from Savusavu, provided more food, and prepared everything. Next year the contest will be at a different village, and Nambuna Villagers will be guests.
