Kava Roots at Market

Indians in Savusavu, such as our friend Sami, were usually the middlemen of the kava business. Farmers sold roots to them, and they did the drying, repackaging, and selling to end users. Ram(17) and Bobby(25) work with Sami, and here are making huge bundles of dried roots. We bought small bundles here to present to village chiefs as our "sevusevu" offerings.
