Interisland Trader at Hao Atoll

This ship is an interisland trader which we saw at Hao Atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago. Few of the islands have large docks, so most cargo is loaded and unloaded via small boats. Ships like this are the main means of transportation to and from Papeete, the hub of French Polynesia.
