Bali

We were visiting the town of Ubud on October 1 when three suicide bombers hit the town of Kuta. When we saw the scene a few days later there were many flowers. The Balinese Hindus were very upset at these new attacks, apparently by Muslim extremists from Java. Tourism is extremely important to Bali's economy, and was just recovering after similar bombings in 2002.
