Boat Loading To Go To Tarawa

This is one of the daily ferries between Abaiang Atoll and Tarawa Atoll. It isn't a long trip, and most of it is in sheltered waters, so this boat is safer than it looks. The loads of fruit, vegetables, and passengers are sometimes incredible.
