Amorous Scenes from Ramayana

These are reliefs from the exterior of the royal funerary carriage house in Wat Xieng Thong. They depict scenes from the Ramayana, a popular source of inspiration for artists throughout Southeast Asia. It was somewhat surprising to find these amorous scenes in a Wat.
