Speedboat Full Of Locals

The alternative to a "slow boat" was a small speedboat. One like this is fast, but although the noise of the engine is bad the bone-jarring rough ride is much worse. Most of their drivers wore crash helmets, but most passengers were unprotected. We were happy to travel on "slow boats."
