| We need to replace stitching in the jib once or twice per year. The threads chafe when we tack and the jib rubs against the inner forestay before we manage to shift it all the way to the other side. We mend with strong sun-resistant polyester thread and reuse the same needle holes so the Dacron sailcloth does not get additional perforations. |
