Malaysian Maritime Rescue Practice

On a calm day just north of Port Klang we watched Maritime Malaysia (their "Coast Guard") practice lifting people from boat to helicopter and then putting them back aboard the boat. The exercise was conducted at high speed, probably to simulate windy conditions. In a storm they would also have to contend with waves, making the operation much more difficult.
