Lesser Adjutant Stork

We saw two Lesser Adjutant Storks as we passed through the estuary just west of Port Klang in early December 2008. These big birds were once common but are now threatened by hunting and habitat loss. There are estimated to be only about 500 of them left in Malaysia.
