Purse Seiner

Local fishermen seem to use every imaginable technique. This is a purse seiner, using a large net with floats on the top edge and weights on the bottom edge to (hopefully) encircle a school of fish. A drawstring closes the bottom before the whole thing is hoisted onto the boat. In this particular haul, they caught almost nothing.
