Mersing at Low Tide

Mersing is a good harbor but has a shallow entrance through a fairly long buoyed channel. At low tide the channel is not deep enough for ferries or normal fishing boats. This can disrupt schedules. We once waited an extra two hours in Mersing until our ferry could (barely) go out.
