Sara by Turtle Tracks

Just offshore from the entrance to the Santubong River was Pulau Satang. A few Green and Hawksbill turtles laid eggs on this island's small beach each night. This was a turtle sanctuary with three men protecting eggs and hatchlings. In this photo Sara looks at tracks made by the big females which crawled laboriously up the beach the previous night.
