Flying Foxes

Flying Foxes are large fruit-eating bats which roosted in large numbers in Tekek. Most chose Causarina Trees, a kind of pine, but these hung out on a Coconut Palm. We have watched White-bellied Sea Eagles snatch Flying Foxes from trees, so more branches might provide better protection.
