Perhentian Island Stairway

Nina's only steps ashore between Ko Samui and Pulau Tioman were on this stairway on Perhentian Kecil. She didn't set foot on Tioman until we had been there more than a week, so this was her only shore visit for more than a month. The stairs led up to a large array of solar panels and two big wind turbines. The wind turbines were not operating, but should eventually replace diesel-generated electricity for the resorts.
