Langkawi's "Eagle"

This huge sculpture is a Langkawi landmark on the waterfront at "Eagle Square" near the big ferry terminal. It is a Brahminy Kite, but locally it is called a "Brown Eagle." We often see these big soaring birds. The sculpture is large enough to conjure up visions of the Roc in the story of Sindbad the Sailor.
