Al-Hana Mosque in Kuah

The Al-Hana mosque is noted on our old paper chart of Langkawi as "conspic." That indicates a conspicuous landmark. With the high-rise development of the Kuah waterfront and the growth of trees in recent years, the mosque has almost disappeared from view. However, its loudspeakers provide prayers five times each day for the townspeople (and for anchored cruisers.)
