Garuda - Mythical King of the Birds

Garuda, the mythical King of the Birds. This is an important character in ancient Hindu/Buddhist mythology. We encountered Garuda images often in Thailand and Cambodia where they were guardians of palaces and sometimes were shown airlifting Gods on their backs.
