Small Canoe on Enijabro Beach

This picture of a small canoe on the beach was used for the cover of the 2004 Majuro and Ebeye Telephone Directory. The Marshall Islands Journal published six of our Ailuk canoe photographs on June 18, 2004. The 2004 Tourist Guide to the Marshall Islands had one of our Ailuk canoe photographs on the cover and three more inside. These traditional boats were beautiful and practical, and should continue to be a source of pride to Marshall Islanders.
