New Hull, Thirty Feet Long

On a tour of the canoe house we saw this traditional hull, thirty feet long, under construction. While some ancient canoes were much larger, this will be the largest canoe made in the Marshall Islands for many years. An Australian is currently the head of the canoe house. Support comes from both private and government sources.
