| This was in the Manuha Paya and we do not really know what it represents. A similar photo in an old guidebook gave us this title. The bird figure was popular at many temples in Myanmar, and may be related to the bird-shaped boats which transported Buddha images around Inle Lake on ceremonial occasions. |
