Vishnu in Nathlaung Kyaung

The Nathlaung Kyaung was the only Hindu temple remaining in Bagan. It was apparently built in the 10th or early 11th century and dedicated to Vishnu. It was badly damaged by the 1975 earthquake and its free-standing statues were stolen by a German oil engineer in the 1890s, but the interior still had some brick-and-stucco reliefs.
