Golden Lily Guest House

This shows our corner room and balcony on the second floor of the Golden Lily Guesthouse. It was comfortable, friendly and inexpensive. This guesthouse was privately owned by a Sikh family, while most other guesthouses had government connections. Harri, our excellent guide on the trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake, was a member of this family. He told us there were only two Sikh families left in Kalaw.
