Houses Across From Bhamo

Bhamo was a relatively large old town, and across the river was a sizeable temporary community. The shacks were built on sands covered by water during the wet season. They had thatched roofs, bamboo walls and probably no modern conveniences. The people appeared to be mostly fishermen and boatbuilders.
