Chinese Temple Cornices

This Chinese temple is an elaborate artistic creation, even to the details of its roofs. This is a sharp contrast to the massive, simplistic steel-and-glass blocks in the background. Most of Singapore today consists of large modern buildings, cramming a large population onto a small island.
