Ariki Tafua's Son John

This is John, son of Ariki Tafua, who will take his father's position as chief when his father dies. Here he is dancing with the traditional "Te Ako" group which takes its direction from Ariki Kafika. Our hosts wre afraid we would be bored by the traditional songs and dances, but we enjoyed them very much.
