Niche With Archer

This little figure stands in a niche high on the side of the prang of Wat Rachaburana. Its flowery detail can only be seen via telescopic lenses but the craftsmen did not do sloppy work even up here. Because of his bow and arrow, this may be Rama, hero of the ancient Ramayana epic and a favorite subject of artists.
