The "Hippy Bar" is on the beach of Ao Khow-Khai, the northwestern bay. The name of this bay translates as "Buffalo Bay" and is due to the "horns" which protect the bay on both sides of its opening to the sea. The "Hippy Bar" is a well-established local institution and includes several unique structures such as this boat. They serve meals as well as many types of drinks, and sometimes have live music and BBQs at night.
