Our visit to the Iles du Salut was confined to Ile Royale. We anchored on the west side at 5 degrees 17 minutes North latitude, 52 degrees 35 minutes West longitude after 17 days and 2447 miles from Ascension Island, averaging 144 miles per day. On shore we found a cobblestone road leading up the hill.
