"Dune 7" near Walvis Bay was just one of the sand dunes which were all along Namibia's Atlantic coast. Many were protected but this one was apparently designated for tourism. There were few restrictions on climbing and sliding here and a nearby shop rented vehicles for fooling around on the sand.
