Uli and Annette are Germans on vacation for several weeks at "Phayam Beach Resort." They have been here several times and obviously love the place. The island has good word-of-mouth and guidebook coverage in Germany and Austria, and many guests are from those countries. We stayed ashore too long one evening and became unable to see waves before they broke. Uli and Annette urged us to stay in the spare room of their tent rather than risk disaster in our dinghy in big breaking waves, so we stayed ashore that night. We will not forget their kindness.
